Since April, the number of employees at SED Inc., Canon’s SED TV panel spin-off has increased from 387 to 635. In combination with the verdict in the Nano vs. Canon case, this is a good indication of a bright future for SED TV.
One question that arises is whether or not Canon will use the Nano technology for the SED panels, or their own that they have been working on since last year.
Thanks to Bryan for the tip.

I think they will use some of their own and some from Nano where and if it makes [financial] sense.

The board of directors @ ANI should fire the sitting idiot CEO Zvi Yanin for selling Canon all that IP instead of licenseing it which is ANI’s main purpose for being in business.

I wonder how much those employees are being paid? Not enough probally
Reasoning why they hired so many.

Actually, bith hook, Tom Bijou is the CEO, and neither Zvi nor Tom were responsible for the original deal. If you need to blame someone – and it’s debatable whether anyone can be blamed – it was Eller, long departed CEO. At the time ANI needed money – not much bargaining room to be had at that time.
