At CEATEC, Naoaki Umezu, Toshiba’s chief specialist on SED, announced that the company has come up with some manufacturing breakthroughs that will allow the SED TV to be priced competitively with large LCD TV’s.
This is some very welcome news as there has been continuous speculation as to whether or not SED Inc could manufacture SED television panels at anywhere close to a cost competitive to LCD or plasma. Read the full story at:

The new generation of plasma tv is upon us with great effect. Panasonic has released thier biggest set yet at 102 inches, can you imagin that sat on your living room wall. WOW!

This isn’t the next generation of plasma TV. This is the next generation of CRT that will dominate plasma TV.
I just want to replace 21″ CRT piece of crap with that 36″ SED. I can’t imagine how awsome games will run on it. No response time, best picture available, ohhhhh I can’t wait!
