It´s a very tough task even for a big company like Canon to develop and manufacture a brand new type of TV/monitor. Especially when they don´t have any experience and most of all (had) no competence for that. They started almost from scratch. Most companies cooperate to do that. Yeah, but Canon is alone this time.
